We are seeking a dedicated, organized, and effective assistant for our Furniture division. Core duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Working with customers to obtain and provide: the necessary information needed for processing orders, shipping and delivery dates, handling discrepancies, and meeting and exceeding their expectations,
- Processing orders: Verifying and entering orders using Excel in accordance with the ordering process, requesting vendor purchase orders from Accounting, submitting purchase orders to manufacturers, coordinating and tracking deliveries and shipments.
- Acts as a liaison between company and vendors/sub-contractors
- General administrative duties such as creating and ordering catalog binders for customer presentations, filing, emails, etc.
- Perform all other administrative tasks as needed
· Office experience: 2-3 years
· Working knowledge of MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook), QuoteWerks, and GoldMine
· Strong organizational capabilities
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
· Ability to multi-task and prioritize
