We are currently looking for a G2 licensed and qualified Gas Fitter to add to our growing team!

Job Description

 

The right candidate for this position must have a valid and up-to-date G2 Gas Fitter license; needs to be hard-working, dependable, punctual, and self-motivated. The ideal candidate will have superior organizational and customer relation skills with the ability to follow instructions & then carry them out efficiently, in addition to excellent problem-solving skills.

 

This position will be responsible for construction and maintenance of furnaces/ACs/Water tanks/Gas Lines as well as ensuring services are performed in compliance with customer requirements and TSSA

 

Responsibilities and Requirements

 

• Advise clients on safety features/ maintenance of gas units and prepare work reports
• Inspect, assemble, install, test, and maintain HVAC equipment
• Picking up required materials for job sites and maintaining inventory on the truck and in the shop for various jobs
• Inspect jobs upon completion and ensure all areas are clean
• Work with other contractors on site to complete projects in a timely manner
• Respond to emergency calls if needed

 

Qualifications & Training

 

• 3-5 years of work experience as a G2 Gas Fitter
• Valid Gas Fitter Certification Level 2
• Able to install furnaces, ACs, hot water Tanks, and install duct work as required
• Class G drivers license with a clean record (driver’s abstract to be provided)
• Working at heights
• The ability to lift upwards of 50 lbs
• Strong Commitment to safety
• Have your own basic tools

 

Job Type: Full-time Monday-Friday with some after hours as required

 

Salary: Competitive wage, and benefits package after one year
