Alaskan AC is on the search for a Logistics Coordinator, and it’s like running Mission Control at NASA (we happen to think it’s more important than that – but we’re biased).  

A Logistics Manager is responsible for keeping track of inventory, making sure the trucks are ready to go, and keeping people and parts organized.

When our day starts, our technicians need to jump into their trucks, and their trucks have to be stocked to go.

We take pride in making sure that goes like clockwork, but you gotta be ready to solve problems and make decisions on the spot.  

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Receiving and stowing inventory. 
  • Inspecting fleet daily for mileage, maintenance, damage, cleanliness, and resupply needs.
  • Inspecting the facility for safety and cleanliness. 
  • Resupplying trucks with resupply bins and staging area. 
  • Facilitating fleet maintenance, repairs, and cleaning. 
  • Facilitating facility maintenance, repairs, and cleaning. 
  • Counting inventory to facilitate resupply orders and identify shortages. 
  • Placing resupply orders through Operations Manager.
  • Recording loaner tools in and out. 
  • Picking up same day job site resupply from parts houses. 
  • Receiving in, properly documenting, and shipping back all warranty items for chargeback. 
  • Training team members on safety, inventory procedures, and fleet maintenance.
  • Monitoring and maintaining benchmark KPI’s.

 

If it has something to do with the inventory, fleet, or facility, it’s going to be your job to watch over it.
