Inventory Control Clerk

We are looking for a detail-oriented, hard-working Inventory Control Clerk with experience and good math and communication skills. Your responsibilities would include maintaining inventory records and preparing various reports for internal and customer use.  Military candidates are encouraged to apply.




·       Oversee daily transactions dealing with warehouse inventory.

  • Maintain and adjust records as needed.
  • Enter packaging inventory receipts into system.
  • Prepare and maintain finished product Bills of Materials.
  • Oversee inventory levels to ensure sufficient stock is available to run orders.
  • Create and closeout batch/PO’s and adjust Bills of Materials, as needed.
  • Coordinate physical inventories of packaging when needed.
  • Verify and reconcile discrepancies between physical counts and computer reports.
  • Prepare reports for inventory balances/shortages when needed.
  • Work with suppliers regarding component inventory issues, such as shortages.
  • Handle customer inventory requests.
  • Be a company liaison to customers regarding inventory questions.


Experience Requirements:


  • Experience with WMS/ERP system a plus.
  • Basic math skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel).
  • Prior inventory and/or shipping & receiving experience preferred.
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Detail oriented.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Must be able to multi-task and follow-up when responses are needed.
  • Honesty, integrity and a team player.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision and complete tasks within set deadlines.


Work Environment & Physical Requirements:


  • ·       Work is normally performed in a typical office environment but the position may, on occasion, require some limited physical activity.
  • ·       Must be able to see alpha/numbers on computer screen and paperwork.
  • ·       While performing the duties of this job, the associate regularly is required to see, talk and hear.
  • ·       May work at times, around moving mechanical parts, such as forklifts.
  • ·       Must be able to stand and walk, at times for extended periods of time.
  • ·       Must be able to pull, squat, kneel and/or balance and reach with hands and arms.
  • ·       Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs without restriction.
