The British Columbia Regional Council of Carpenters (BCRCC) has an outstanding opportunity for a full-time in-house lawyer who will handle a wide range of matters within the employment and labour law field.
About the BCRCC
The BCRCC is a progressive, innovative building trades union representing more than 3000 workers in BC and the Yukon, including carpenters, scaffolders and floorlayers. The BCRCC is a regional council within the Canadian District of the United Brotherhood of Carpenters (UBC). The organization is committed to employment equity, diversity and inclusion. It strives to provide its members with the skills and qualifications required by the building trades industry. It does so by providing comprehensive training at its 40,000-square-foot training centre on Annacis Island in the Lower Mainland of B.C. as well as at its Northern Training Centre in Prince George. In turn, its signatory contractors have access to the most productive workers in the industry and its members enjoy superior wages and benefits.
