An established, local electrical contractor is looking to build their team for work in the Georgetown area. The employer is looking to hire a second- or third-year electrical apprentice, in good standing with OCOT. Applicants must have welding experience.
The successful applicant will become a key member of a tight-knit team, focused on safe and efficient completion of projects for a regular group of clients.

Fulltime – 40 hours a week
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES
Duties and Responsibilities
Work with project managers, office staff and customers to complete projects
Identify, troubleshoot and present technical issues in a clear and concise manner
Installation/integration of electrical systems to meet electrical safety standards
Solid knowledge of Ontario Electrical Code
Operate tools and equipment in a safe manner
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications and Requirements
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Tenacity and the determination to get things done in a timely manner
Self-sufficient, analytical and problem-solving skills
Valid Ontario driver's license with a good driving record
Safety certified for working in construction (WAH, WHMIS, Worker Health & Safety)
