Under the direction of the foreman, the commercial concrete finisher sets forms, reinforces, pours and finishes. Types of products include slabs on grade, slabs on deck, sidewalks, curbs, gutters, and related concrete structures.

Assignments, written or given verbally, are mainly repetitive and routine in nature with adherence to established methods and procedures, and work is frequently inspected.

Duties

• Responsible for working safely in all job assignments.
• Set forms including sidewalks, curb, and gutter.
• Place wire mesh, and/or placing and tying rebar.
• Pour and finish all phases of concrete: flatwork and sitework.
• Finish edges by hand.

• Run finishing equipment and use machines that vibrate concrete to fill air pockets.
• Use chemical additives to speed up drying process if necessary.
• Wash away excess concrete.
• Responsible for cleaning and maintenance of all tools and equipment.
• All other duties as assigned

Skills / Requirements

Skills 3+ years of experience.

Owns tools.

Reliable Transportation.
