DUTIES, REQUIREMENTS & BENEFITS
Duties and Responsibilities
Assist licensed plumbers to read blueprints and install, repair and maintain plumbing fixtures and systems. Tasks include determining pipe positions, passage holes and fixtures, cutting openings, joining pipes, testing, and measuring, cutting, threading and bending pipes to suit.
Work with project managers, office staff and customers to accurately complete work orders and projects
Identify, troubleshoot and present technical issues in a clear and concise manner
Solid knowledge and comprehension of the Ontario Plumber Code
Operate tools and equipment in a competent & safe manner
Other duties as assigned
Organization/planning abilities and a great communicator
Positive attitude and willingness to learn
Tenacity and the determination to get things done in a timely manner
Self-sufficient, analytical and advanced problem-solving skills
Valid Ontario G class driver’s license with a good driving record and own vehicle
Safety certified for working in construction (WAH, WHMIS, Workers Health & Safety)
