Electrical Apprentice for commercial and residential applications 

Geographic Location: Barrie area 

 Job Description: 

This position requires the ability and knowledge to install electrical wiring and systems for new or renovations projects in residential and commercial applications such as custom homes, schools, retail centers, large storage facilities, lighting retrofits and EV charger installations. 

Responsibilities: 

• Electrical installation at different job location
• Assisting with the installation of distribution equipment, Panels, Disconnects, switchboards and transformers
• Bend, fit and install EMT and PVC conduit
• Trouble shoot and repair electrical circuits and devices
• Installation of EV chargers
• Installation of LED retrofit lighting 
• Splice, join and connect electrical wires 
• Installation and link up electrical outlets, switches and lighting devices

 Qualifications: 

• Registered apprenticeship with an affiliated and accredited organization  
• Strong blueprint reading skills 
• Strong communication and organizational skills 
• Excellent time management skills 
• Ability to multitask 
• Valid Drivers Licence 
• Valid WHIMIS/Working at heights/Ariel and Lift certificates 
• Own hand tools, cordless drill, impact drill, muti-voltage tester
