We are currently looking for a skilled landscape construction professional with an eye for detail and aspirations of running their own crew. We specialize in pool landscape, water features, patios, retaining walls, softscapes, hardscapes, etc. If your focus is landscaping excellence, creative solutions, and quality craftmanship – we want you. We are looking to work with a positive outgoing person who is open to learning and improving their skills.

Some Saturdays may be required in season to get the job done. Compensation is competitive and based on experience. Benefits available after a 3-month probation period, RRSP matching program, etc.  Opportunity for winter work with affiliate companies.

The ideal candidate will have 2-3 years of experience.

Responsibilities:

• Install landscapes using various landscape material
• Site preparation, planting, softscapes, hardscapes
• Read plans
• Able to operate stone saws, skid-steers, excavators, etc
• Perform maintenance of vehicle, tools and equipment
• Yard maintenance and shop clean up as required
• Other tasks as assigned

Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years of landscape construction or construction experience
• Knowledge of natural stone, interlock, retaining walls, basic woodwork, planting & odd jobs
• Experience with landscape layout and site preparation an asset
• Capable of physical labour, with the ability to lift 50 lbs
• Strong attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills
• Organized, reliable, self-motivated
• Class G Drivers License
• Language (English)
• Landscape diploma or certification is an asset
• Own transportation to the shop required. A company vehicle will be provided for daytime use
