Wholesale Nursery Quality Control/Inventory Manager

Beech Nursery West is growing and looking for a dynamic individual to join us! Since opening our doors in 2014 we have been fortunate to experience fantastic growth year over year and we are now looking for an experienced quality control/Inventory manager for our wholesale location in Schomberg.

Work as a member of a team that has dozens of years of wholesale nursery experience and a passion for trees and plants!

This is a year-round position.

Key Responsibilities

• Establishes standards and expectations for how we conduct Quality Control/Inventory management across the nursery.
• Working with the general manager, manage staffing requirements and resources pertaining to quality control and Inventory of the tree and plant materials on site.
• Provides standardized reporting of Quality control/Inventory to all relevant stakeholders, utilizing said reports to anticipate and resolve issues as required.
• Ensures appropriate planning, development, documentation, and maintenance of the trees and plant species on site and on surrounding farm locations of the nursery.
• Must have extensive knowledge of plant species, planting, pruning, watering techniques and needs, rectification and treatment when required.

 

Salary based on experience, with extended health benefits available after 3 months
