A well-established, successful manufacturing company in Scarborough, Ontario is looking to hire a Millwright Apprentice with one to three years experience. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a great team atmosphere.

 

As a Millwright Apprentice, your key responsibilities are:

• Repair and maintain, in accordance with local codes, diagrams, sketches, engineering drawings, manuals and manufacturer’s specifications, machinery, such as motors, conveyors, boilers, compressors, production equipment and other related machinery
• Shift work required
• Overtime when required

Qualifications:

• One to three years experience
• Ability to lift to 50 lbs
• Strong analytical and decision-making skills
• Able to work in a team and to handle priorities under pressure
• Strong understanding and conscious of safe work practices
• Available to attend schooling and attain Journeymen certification within a specified time period
• Mechanical maintenance experience is necessary and preferably currently working towards a millwright apprentice
• Strong analytical and decision-making skills
