Welcome To Gerber Landscaping - Applying For The Landscaping Labourer Position

We are looking for an adventure seeker who understands the freedom of working outdoors! Someone who enjoys hard work and gets satisfactions from completing the job. The landscaper/snow removal role engages in many outdoor activities to maintain properties including lawn cutting, shrub trimming, snow removal, salting and other activities desired by our commercial property owners.  In this role you will be performing outdoor maintenance on properties under our General Managers direction.

 

We will train all selected candidates and pay a guaranteed weekly salary. This is a seasonal role that if desired can be a full time employment opportunity.

 

Responsibilities

• Snow removal - must be available for snow events for shovelling/snow blowing/salting tasks from December - March
• Cutting grass using various lawn mowers
• Edging and trimming using gas powered trimmer
• Assist with mulching and planting
• Follow all health and safety procedures

 

Qualifications:

• Able to report to work on time for variable hours 
• Minimum Class G drivers license recommended with a good driving record
• Ability to work outdoors, completing physically demanding work under a variety of weather conditions
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to work as a team member and individually
