We are a high-end residential landscape design and build company. We are seeking an estimator to join our awesome team in the office to help price our designs for our clients. We are looking for someone who is very organized and systematic who takes pride in the accuracy of their work. It would be helpful if you have experience in the industry or a desire to learn. It's important that you be a team player that contributes to the overall success of the company.
RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES
- Prepare estimates for our landscape and pool projects
- Prepare takeoffs from our design program
- Keep cost database updated
- Communicate with vendors and subcontractors
- Work with our sales and design teams to provide estimate documents
- Prepare change orders for active construction projects
- Assist with post-project cost analysis comparisons
- Assist with developing production rates and pricing templates
- Keep our estimating software organized and up to date
- General office related tasks
REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
- Be able to effectively use Microsoft Office programs
- Experience with LMN Estimating software considered an asset, however, training is provided.
- Good time management skills – consistently meet deadlines
- Good communication skills, both verbal & written
- Good organization skills
- Knowledge and Experience in the landscape industry is essential
- Experience in landscape construction considered an asset
