We're looking for a dedicated team player to join us as our Corporate Bookkeeper. JOB DESCRIPTION

Role: Corporate Bookkeeper

Location:  Edmonton and Area

Job Type: Various

Compensation: We offer competitive wages, as well as many team incentives!

Hours: Flexible Hours

Responsibilities:

·       General Ledger maintenance and data entry for multiple entities;

·       Recording all banking transactions including completion of bank reconciliations;

·       Recording and reconcile intercompany transactions;

·       Manage and record all company credit card transactions;

·       Recording and maintaining accounts payables including entering all invoices and employee expense reimburses (Zoho), reconciling vendor accounts in QBO to vendor statements, etc.; 

·       Manage Expense Reimbursement Process using Zoho and verify all company credit card expense reports are complete and compliant with company policies;

·       Chart of accounts maintenance (creating new accounts, ensure consistency of numbering and coding across group of companies, etc.);

·       Ad hoc projects and tasks as required;

·       Other duties or responsibilities as assigned by the Corporate Controller.

Required Skills:  

  • Valid Driver's License;
  • Minimum three years of bookkeeping (accounting) experience;
  • Accounting Diploma/Degree would be considered an asset;
  • Extensive experience and knowledge on bookkeeping platforms QuickBooks experience would be considered an asset;
  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office specifically in Excel;
  • Effective interpersonal skills;
  • Excellent attention to detail, oral and written communication skills;
  • Efficient time management skills;
  • Enjoys working in a fast-paced environment; and,
  • Passion to succeed and grow within an organization.
