Blue 2 Green is a long standing, reputable Swimming Pool Fill In Demolition Company. We work exclusively in the GTA and surrounding areas.

We have been operating in Ontario for over 20 years and continuously give high quality solutions to our neighbours. We are transforming backyards to the different stages of our customer lifestyles. Currently we are growing and looking to hire an experienced Foreperson. 

JOB DUTIES

Assign tasks based on work schedules, keep workers on task, complete timesheets and inspect the quality of work to ensure job requirements are met. Instruct crew members on proper work standards. Interact with customers to resolve issues or answer questions. Crew leaders, also called foreperson, work along with crew members in completing all landscaping installations/maintenance. 

  • Hands-on approach to overseeing operations and workers
  • Excellent time management to ensure productivity and completion of jobs within given timeframes
  • Ensuring the safety of a 3-4 employee crew
  • Responsible for Mini Excavator and Skid Steer (Pilot/Cat controls) operation
  • Driving to and from location, loading and unloading machines on job site
  • Concrete saws, materials, company reposts, traffic protection plan
  • You must be experience with the hydraulic hammer attachment and all aspects of back filling, final grading, sodding properties and know how to operate concrete saws, skid steers, mini excavators
  • Resolve problems when they arise

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Minimum 3-5 yrs experience in Landscape/Construction in Management or Lead Hand Position
  • Clean driver’s abstract, minimum AR/AZ Driver's Licence (in good standing), with minimum 3 years experience is also welcome/asset, reliable vehicle, cell phone
  • This person must be detail oriented, quality driven and knowledgeable about industry practices and proper use of materials
  • Loves working outdoors rain or shine
  • Physically fit, accountable, responsible and results oriented, able to lift 50 lbs
  • Good Teamwork and communications skills
  • Excellent Organization and Leadership Skills
  • Daily Inspections of Equipment and Mechanical maintenance
  • In-depth knowledge of Construction procedures and Equipment
  • Start time 7am
  • Candidate must own and wear; CSA approved Steel Toe Boots, plus CSA approved Rubber Boots, Hard Hats, eye & ear protection and gloves
  • Must have references
