We are hiring Experienced Irrigation Service Techs for the upcoming 2022 season. These are full-time positions with well-rounded compensation and bonuses with the ability to continue your growth within our growing company.
Approaching our 20th year in business, National Capital Irrigation has built a name for itself by consistently offering knowledgeable and efficient service for residential and commercial clients across Ottawa.
We’re hiring for two positions for experienced irrigation technicians starting Spring 2022. Candidates must be capable of performing all aspects of irrigation service work including but not limited to: Seasonal Services (Opening, Closings, etc.), Repair Service Calls and System Efficiency Upgrades.
Our office is located in the west end near Barrhaven, and staffed year round. While conveniently located, there is no bus service to our location so reliable personal transportation is a must. Work is primarily Monday to Friday, with weekend work available to those interested.
We are looking for people that will consistently bring a positive attitude, good work ethic, and demonstrated knowledge of the trade.
Our service department operates with modern, well-equipped service vehicles, and is supported by our full-time office staff. Quality customer service starts with providing a consistent and well-organized work experience for our staff.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required
- Capability to inspect irrigation systems to identify proper service needs
- Aptitude to troubleshoot, install and adjust: controllers, valves and other system components
- Minimum of one year experience working in the irrigation industry in a similar role, with additional industry experience seen as a strong asset.
- Possess a valid Driver’s License and a good driving record. You must be insurable as per our Insurance provider to hold this position.
