Responsibilities
Planning for and provide targeted evidence-based therapeutic intervention for a variety of children on your caseload
Use of creative play & hands on activities & sensory approaches to increase client's skills
Consult with family/caregiver for development of home programs
Share and collaborate with other therapists
Complete accurate daily & quarterly progress notes and annual Planusing web-based electronic medical reporting system
Demonstrate positive rapport with families, caregivers, and staff
Evaluations (school-based & clinic/home)
Supervisors-weekly interaction to support assistants with therapeutic approaches and link activities to goals. Review and sign daily, quarterly and Plan of Care reports. In schools, attend meetings, communicate with team & families, complete IEP/MET documentation.
Requirements (by start date)
Arizona Level One IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card
Current license to practice therapy in Arizona
CPR & Article 9 training
1 year experience preferred (pediatric)
