We are currently looking for a Horticulture and Maintenance Manager to join our growing team in the Flamborough, Hamilton, Cambridge area. The person in this position will lead our horticulture and maintenance department looking after our amazing Pearle Hospitality properties, select high end residential properties, garden renovations, new plant installations and design.

The pay for this role ranges between $26 - $32 hour depending on relevant experience

What we are looking for:

  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in the horticultural field
  • A strong team player with exceptional leadership skills
  • Ability to cultivate a positive work environment and instill an ethic of teamwork and professionalism among the team
  • Close attention to detail.
  • Extensive annuals, perennials and nursery stock knowledge
  • Purchasing of plant material.
  • A keen eye for Landscape design
  • Design and installation of seasonal planters
  • Knowledge in tree and plant care and installation
  • Valid “G” Driver’s License with clean drivers abstract
  • First aid training considered asset
