We work with an extensive and multi-disciplinary group of professionals and trades for a worry-free implementation from planning and permits, to Design Execution and Build.

Landscape Designer Position Description:

  • Perform site data collection and analysis, independently and in team setting,
  • Assemble, create and develop Landscape Designs independently and in a team setting, including;
  • Assemble base plans using site data/survey
  • Export dxf/dwg and/or pdf of base plans for concept development
  • Develop conceptual plans into Vectorworks, CAD or SketchUp
  • Complete master plans, detail drawings and dimension plans
  • Provide support with planting design, sourcing plant material and garden decor,
  • Design/Assemble hardscape/softscape presentations for each client,
  • Provide enthusiastic support and assistance to other team members with administration, marketing and customer satisfaction and retention initiatives, social media and networking events,

Qualifications:

  • Personal Portfolio required
  • Minimum 2 years landscape design experience and/or graduate of Landscape Design/Architecture program
  • Solid working knowledge of the principals and practices of Landscape Design
  • Strong Horticulture, hardscape and grading knowledge an asset
  • Must be able to develop and draft construction details independently, or willingness to learn
  • Solid working knowledge of SketchUp and other 3D modelling software an asset
  • A valid Ontario drivers license and a clean drivers abstract an asset
  • Bachelor’s degree and/or a Landscape Industry Certification an asset
  • Possess a strong work ethic and highly motivated
  • Understands, follows, and communicates written and oral instructions well

The ideal candidate for this position must be self-motivated, highly organized and eager to grow in a fast-paced landscape design company.  This is a contract position to start, with option for full-time employment (40hrs/week) with benefits and office for the right candidate. Competitive Wages based on experience.   Start Date: March 21, 2022
