Welcome To Shelburne Home Hardware - Applying For The Garden Centre Salesperson Position

We are a Home Hardware Building Centre in a rapidly growing community. We offer a great group insurance package, RSP plan and employee purchase discount after a probationary period. Training will be provided for Health and Safety, as well as specialty knowledge. Shelburne Home Hardware is open 7 days a week and employees are required to work some weekends. We are currently looking to expand our Garden Centre with friendly and knowlegeable staff who are able to generate sales by advising customers on selection of plants, shrubs and trees; methods of planting and cultivation; and proper care. We are looking for candidates who are:

• Customer service oriented
• Passionate about gardening and have horticultural knowledge
• Willing to grow in the department
• Able to effectively manage their time
• Dedicated, reliable, and able to assess inventory of stock and advise supervisor of new stock requirements 
• Self-motivated and a team player
• Knowledgeable in lawn and garden equipment
