Lawn Maintenance Crew Leaders (West GTA)
North Star Landscaping Inc. has been in business for over 47 years, serving our customers in west GTA. We are expanding and are looking for a Lawn Maintenance Crew Leader for its lawn maintenance operation. This is a full-time working position, with duties including:
- Drive crew members in a company pick up truck from our shop to sites, towing an equipment trailer to customer locations in Western GTA and Mississauga area
- Organizing daily lawn maintenance activities, ensure completion of professional lawn services for accounts, complete daily time tickets
- Completion of detailed daily work sheets, time tickets and schedules
- Grass cutting using small engine mowers and tractor mowers
- Spring and fall clean-up duties, ensure plants are in good shape for the growing season
- Cultivation of flower beds and trees pits, hedge trimming
- Spreading soils and mulch, plant flowers and shrubs
- Raking mulch, blowing off hard surfaces
- Advise of problem or concerns encountered at each customer site to ensure professional quality services are provided
- Lay sod and install hardscaping such as interlocking from time to time if required
- Snow plowing and sidewalk maintenance services during the winter months
- MUST have a valid driver's license and actual experience.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: $20.00-$30.00 per hour based on experience.
