Millgrove Garden Supplies is looking for an honest and reliable Full-Time Administrative Assistant and Bookkeeper. The ideal candidate will be a quick learner, have excellent communication skills, pay close attention to detail, and have an outgoing and friendly disposition.

As a topsoil and landscape supply company, primary duties and responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Assisting with customer inquiries over the phone, e-mail or in person
  • Managing and maintaining current accounts receivable and accounts payable
  • Maintaining customer files and records
  • Processing customer orders and e-mailing invoices
  • Ordering material from suppliers as necessary
  • Maintaining a clean office and work space
  • Other miscellaneous office duties


The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Exceptional customer service skills
  • A keen eye for accuracy and attention to details
  • Exemplified organizational skills
  • Thorough knowledge of Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Administrative and Bookkeeping knowledge (Sage Business Vision and/or Spire program knowledge would be an asset)
  • Effective written and oral communication skills
  • Friendly and outgoing disposition
  • Knowledge of landscaping or agriculture industries would be an asset


Some Saturday work will be required.
