Silver Pine Landscaping is currently hiring a crew leader for year round commercial/residential property maintenance.

A clean driving record and a G license are mandatory. Our yard is located at Hwy 11 and Bathurst in Newmarket, hours are Monday to Friday starting at 7 am and ending between 2-5 pm. Wage is dependent on driving experience and leadership skills, health benefits provided after 3 months.

The ideal candidate will have good leadership abilities and will be able to monitor their crew members for quality of work. Excellent communication skills are a must.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Leadership experience and the ability to monitor crew members for quality of work

• Experience backing up with and driving with a trailer

• Excellent communication skills

• Attention to detail and a good work ethic

Summer duties (April 1 to October 31):

• Supervising the maintenance crew

• Reporting any issues/incidents to the owner

• Mowing (zero-turn)

• Trimming

• Pruning

• Maintaining gardens

Winter duties (November 1 to March 31):

• Supervising the maintenance crew or snowplowings/salting (depending on experience)

• Reporting any issues/incidents to the owner

• Experience with plowing and operating a salter is an asset
