As a CNC Grinder Operator , you will:

  • Operate machines to produce knife parts
  • Use common machining tools to measure and inspect parts
  • Read and interpret blueprints to determine dimensional and finish tolerances on parts
  • Measure and analyze production parts frequently to ensure quality
  • Maintain offsets for part & machine to Maintain quality and tolerances
  • Properly fill out required paperwork
  • Meet time and schedule standards for assigned work
  • Perform non-Operator tasks when necessary
  • Manage material inventory and work orders in your area 
  • Maintain safe operations by adhering to safety procedures
  • Adhere to standard work schedule and promptly communicate when time off is required
  • Perform daily and weekly maintenance and cleaning on equipment 

Qualifications:

  • Math skills and ability to understand geometry and decimal places
  • Attention to detail, problem-solving, and analytical skills
  • Organizational skills, time management, and strong work ethic
  • Communication skills and confidence in receiving feedback

We’d love to hear from you if you have:

  • Previous grinding experience
  • NC-Code / G-Code Knowledge
  • Experience Operating precision grinding equipment

 

Physical Requirements:

  • Frequently lift and move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift more than 50 pounds.
  • Stand and walk for 10 hours a day. 

 

Pre-employment checks:

  • The prospective candidate must be able to pass a pre-employment alcohol and drug screening.
  • A background check may be conducted.

 

Work Schedule:

Grinding shop shift: Four ten-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM Monday - Thursday with breaks and lunch.

 

Base Wage:

Our starting wage begins at $18-$22 per hour DOE for an Operator and increases depending on performance.
