Position Overview

Do you have a passion for gardening and plants? Do you love working with people? Are you a self starter? We have the position for you! We are currently hiring a full-time Assistant Supervisor providing Customer Service guidance for a crew of CSR's for our busy garden centre.

The perfect team member is energetic and friendly who demonstrates professionalism, is customer service minded, enjoys working collaboratively and is able to lift 30+lbs. You must be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and have strong communication and customer service skills and able to work in the back office associated with Point of Sale systems. In this position, you may be asked to work during special events and statutory and public holidays.

This is a full-time position working approximately 30-40 hours per week, and upwards of 40 hours during our peak season (approximately April - October).

Hourly wage will be determined based on experience.

  • 5-10 years of retail experience (supervisory level preferred)
  • 5+ years of customer service experience
  • Experience working in a garden centre would be considered an asset
  • Experience operating a POS system, eg Catapault
  • Great customer service required
  • Flexible availability (days and weekends)
