Groundhog Landscaping Ltd & Group of Companies services the Greater Toronto Area. We specialize in landscape maintenance and are looking for an Administrative/HR Assistant to join our team.

 

Job Type: Permanent Full-time

 

Location: Etobicoke, ON

Responsibilities:

  • Use QuickBooks to accept/process payments, to pay vendors and to send invoices and estimates to customers.
  • Schedule and confirm customer appointments
  • Answer phones and relay messages
  • Respond to customer inquiries
  • Enter data into Excel spreadsheet while ensuring accuracy and efficiency
  • Order and track inventory
  • Open and distribute regular and electronic mail
  • Set up and maintain manual an electronic filing systems
  • Communicate with staff members in the field
  • Track employee hours and submit payroll
  • Answer any employee questions
  • Ensure polices and regulations are being followed
  • Enforce Covid-19 work rules
  • Sanitize the work office

 

Qualifications:

  • 1-3 years of administrative work experience
  • 1 year of accounting/bookkeeping experience
  • Previous customer service experience
  • Experience with QuickBooks is an asset
  • High school education
  • Strong written & verbal communication skills
  • Strong working experience with MS Office (Word, Excel & Outlook)
  • Detail oriented, organized, able to multitask and prioritize workload
