Reporting to the Retail Manager – Atlantic, the part-time Sales Associate can look forward to:

With our continuous evolution, we are currently looking for a permanent part-time Sales Associate in our Dartmouth Retail Store at 171 John Savage Ave, Dartmouth.  Our retail store is currently open Monday to Friday from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm and the hours for this part-time position would be 24 to 32 hours approximately.  There may be options for additional hours at various times during the year. 

What you’ll be doing:

  • Creating a welcoming environment by greeting all customers as they walk through the doors
  • Providing walk-in or call-in customers with detailed product, pricing information, and may include a demonstration of the product
  • Driving sales through the engagement of customers, suggestive selling, and sharing product knowledge
  • Providing outstanding customer service and handling the processing of payments for purchases
  • Maintaining consistent merchandise of the products in store as per the planogram
  • Maintaining store to Big Erics expectations (displays, stocking, dusting, price tags)
  • Assisting with special customer orders, finding codes and prices for products
  • Assisting with inventory rotation and daily cycle counting
  • Monitoring open orders to ensure customer expectations are met
  • Keeping knowledge up to date on all collections, product information, promotions, and programs always

  • Must have retail sales experience, ideally at least 2 years of retail sales
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Flexible availabilities Monday to Friday between the hours of 8:30 am – 5:00 pm
  • Enthusiastic, friendly, and energetic with a genuine desire to provide outstanding service
  • Proficient in verbal and written English language
  • Maintain composure while dealing with multiple tasks, being attentive to customers, and remaining flexible to the needs of the business
  • Initiative to see what needs to be done and act on the tasks
  • Good computer skills using Microsoft suite (email, word, excel)
  • Knowledge of SAP would be an asset
  • Product knowledge of restaurant/baking/cooking equipment, and janitorial/cleaning products would be an asset
  • Adhere to all the Health & Safety procedures
  • Must be able to pass a pre-employment background check and provide proof of full vaccination
