Welcome To Niagara Outdoor Landscaping - Applying For The Landscape Designer / Estimator Position

Client communication via in person, over email or phone regarding landscape plans, budgets and estimates.

Onsite analysis - taking measurements, elevations, etc.

Create a residential landscape plan with AutoCAD, which includes layouts, gradings and details.

Create project estimates, by gathering quotes from sub contractors & suppliers, and ordering of materials, while maintaining the budget.

Interpret landscape drawings to enter all relevant information into the estimating software. (LMN)

Organzing job-scheduling

Responsive communication with design manager, project managers, foreman and crew, throughout all projects. 

 

REQUIREMENTS:

- Post secondary education in the field of Landscape Design an asset

- Knowledge and experience in landscape design and construction                                                                        

- Field experience, experience in job costing and estimating

- Strong customer service and organizational skills

- Ability to read construction and concept drawings

- A good sense and interest for landscape design

- Great working individually and within a team setting

- Self-motivation and a commitment to high quality project design and presentation

- Valid G2 or G license

 

Salary/Wage: Based on experience. To be discussed at time of first interview
