Weekly hours of work: 30-40

Location: 190 Goodrich, Kitchener, ON

Salary: $20.40/hr., after 6 months - $20.70, after 1 year - $21.00

Position Summary:

Properly sort and stack trays of bread and bread product for shipment to end customer.

Load finished customer stacks onto trailers.


The responsibilities for this position include but are not limited to the following:

  • Unloading trucks and trays.
  • Sorting, picking and loading bread via roller trays.
  • Maintain cleanliness of work area.
  • Follow rules and regulations to ensure food safety and quality.
  • Maintain and establish effective working relationships.
  • Follow detailed instructions accurately.

Required Skills/Experience:

  • English literacy, elementary level.
  • Computer skills, beginner level.
  • Experience as a warehouse worker is a plus but not necessary.
  • Teamwork oriented and positive attitude.
  • Frequently stand, walk, bend and lift.
  • Able to frequently lift and/or move up to 20 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.

Work Environment:

Frequently exposed to humid conditions and may be exposed to high temperatures during the summer months. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.

Hours of Work:

5-day work schedule.

Day shift openings: 5:00AM – 1:30PM

Afternoon shift openings – 2:00PM - 10:30PM

You will be scheduled approximately 30+ hours per week. The end times may vary.
