Automotive Technician

• Pothier Motors is growing and seeking a full-time Automotive Technician to join our team! Apprentices are welcome (3rd year or higher)

 

REQUIREMENTS

• Automotive Journeyman License or 3rd-year Apprentice or higher
• Dealer experience is considered an asset
• General mechanical skill
• Strong Customer Service Skills
• Knowledgeable of technology and use of computer tools
• In-depth knowledge and background in technical diagnosis and repairs
• Organized and knows how to keep the shop looking presentable
• Ability to meet tight deadlines with attention to detail
• Excellent analytical, decision making and problem-solving skills
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask
• Previous Chrysler experience (preferred, not required)
• You must have your own tools
• Strong integrity
• Driver's license
• No criminal record

 

PAY

• $20/hr to $25/hr straight time + performance bonuses (apprentices earn less) – Negotiable and based on experience and skill level.
• Two weeks' vacation after 1st year

 

License/Certification:

• Canadian Drivers' License (required)
• Registered Automotive Apprentice (3rd year or higher)
• Canadian Automotive Journeyman Ticket (preferred but not required)
• Dealership Warranty Training Level (Chrysler training preferred)
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driver's abstract (Required)
