Uxbridge Nurseries is a family operated wholesale business spanning 3 generations. Established in 1972, we specialize in large caliper field-grown trees, shrubs and evergreens. We supply nursery stock to landscapers, contractors, and municipalities across North America. We have over 800 acres of plant material growing on multiple locations across central Ontario. We strive to provide a quality product with excellent service.
Work Duties:
- Loading and unloading plant material
- Organization & maintenance of plant material in shipping yard
- Wholesale customer service
- Yard maintenance & general nursery labor
- Pruning
- Participate in end-of-season clean up
Skills required:
- Outdoor job where strength is an asset
- Able to work in all types of weather conditions
- Strong organizational skills
- Team player with a positive attitude
- Excellent communication skills
- Multi-tasking ability
- Ability to take direction
- Ability to handle standing, bending, lifting & reaching frequently
- Previous nursery experience would be an asset but not necessary
information:
- Schedule would include a start time of 7am, and some weekend work during the Spring and Fall
