Days, Monday to Friday, 6:00AM to 2:30PM

The Supervisor, Ontario Food Terminal will ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the warehouse during scheduled shifts, perform checking, shipping, and receiving functions as required and support management by supervising the shift employees in compliance with the union contract.

What you will do in a typical day: 

• Coordinate deliveries in the market
• Ensure proper product handling to maintain product integrity, safety, food handling regulations, HACCP, BRC, GMP and applicable guiding legal regulations
• Oversee Shipping and Receiving documentation pertaining to pickups and deliveries
• Maintain good relationships and communication with internal and external customers
• Supervise shift employees to ensure maximized productivity, smooth flow of product in and out bound, product integrity, inventory, and efficient management of employee schedules (breaks/lunches/etc.)
• Create, manage, and administer inventory functions for the shift; including but not limited to, list for selectors, quantities in the system, and pallet control process
  

What you will need to succeed at Burnac: 

At minimum, you will need: 

• Post Secondary education or equivalent related work experience or military experience 
• 2-5 years warehouse experience 
• Experience with Microsoft Office 

It would be great if you also have: 

• Diploma or degree in supply chain management 
• 2+ years expereince in warehousing and distribution 
• Experience managing unionized environments
