Salivan Landscape is a full-service grounds management company offering landscape maintenance, landscape construction, interior plant care and snow removal services to commercial, municipal, multi-tenant and single residential clients across the Greater Toronto Area.
We have established an enviable reputation in the higher end market for innovation, quality and customer service that differentiates us from others. We specialize in complex construction jobs and grounds management that increases the value of properties by using our expertise to develop and manage the implementation of design plans.
Due to our continuing growth, we are hiring new and experienced landscape labourers to join our landscape maintenance team. You will receive a competitive wage that is higher than the industry average with full benefits upon the completion of your eligibility period. The benefits include: Life insurance, Extended Health and Dental.
Your specific duties include mowing the lawn, line trimming, blowing, edging, cultivating, weeding, and any other tasks related to grounds maintenance. Some additional tasks may include top dress and overseed, aeration, dethatching, and fertilization. At Salivan, we provide hands-on training on operating equipment safely.
As a Salivan team member, we expect you to be punctual, willing to work long hours (50-60 per week), ready and willing to take instruction and learn, lift at least 50 lbs and be willing to work some Saturdays when the busy season begins. Although a driver’s license for the labourer position is not a requirement, it is always a benefit to have one.
Your Qualifications:
- Minimum of high school diploma.
- Be punctual. Able to arrive at work by 6:30am.
- A positive attitude and collaborative.
- Good verbal and listening skills.
- Maintain a clean, professional appearance at all times.

- A valid driver’s license (with a clean driving record) is an asset.
