Industry leading manufacturer and distributer of quality pool and hot tub chemical products, Backyard Brands, with a portfolio of innovative products such as Dazzle Curated Brands, is looking for an experienced Dealer Development Manager in the Western Ontario region. The Dealer Development Manager will be a key brand ambassador in our business to business market, fostering, building, and maintaining relationships with key accounts, including owners and staff. You will achieve sales goals and market share objectives by cultivating opportunities within an assigned territory. The ideal candidate has proven sales experience in the pool and hot tub chemical market.

  • Foster lasting relationships and loyalty with existing and new dealers and provide exceptional customer service.
  • Prepare and deliver effective sales presentations, product training and provide full support to the dealer sales cycle. 
  • Research and target new prospective customers and new market expansion opportunities. 
  • Actively participate in industry events to increase brand awareness, improve product knowledge, and drive new customer acquisition.
  • Actively listen and uncover client needs/requirements and deliver optimal solution and support.
  • Keep abreast of the industry landscape, changing market conditions and innovation opportunities.  
  • Ability to work independently with proven time management skills to meet and exceed sales targets. 
  • Willing to travel extensively (50%) to different cities across Western Ontario.
  • Ability to work from home office and/or regional office 


  • Proven work experience as a sales professional, preferably in the pool and spa chemical industry.
  • Highly motivated & target driven self-started with a proven track record in delivering results. 
  • Stong prioritization, time management and organizational skills.
  • Seasoned relationship management capabilities and a collaborative team player. 
  • Post-secondary education preferred 
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle required.
