Welcome To Emblem - Applying For The Lead Outdoor Planter Designer Position

Manage the outdoor planters and urns of a busy high-end floral studio with oover 60 established clients.  You'll be responsible for liaising with clients, ordering product and the installation throughout Toronto.  Over half of our clients have their outdoor installations done for the four seasons of the year.  You'll also be responsible for keeping track of the products used and pricing for client invoicing purposes.  

In between planting seasons, you'll be working in the studio assisting the Emblem team, who specialize in daily floral arrangements, corporate events and private venues.  You may be required to work longer hours and some weekends due to the needs of the business.

 

REQUIREMENTS:

• Must have a valid G class drivers license with a clean driving record and be comfortable driving a cargo van as you'll meet at the studio in the mornings and load the van with supplies before going the clients
• Must be able to lift upwards of 40 lbs.
• Able to work in ALL weather conditions.
• Professional demeanor, ability to interact with a variety of clients.
• Willingness to learn and take direction.
• Ability to work both independently and as a team player.
• Able to work weekends and stay later than scheduled time depending on the volume of business, holidays and special events.
• Creative design experience considered an asset.
• Most importantly you must positive and have a “can-do” attitude.
