The Pet Care Specialist is extremely important to our mission of providing superior pet care and serves as the foundation for creating a safe, fun environment for our furry guests. Everything starts with the love and attention you show our four-legged clients daily, giving our pet parents peace of mind while their pooch is with us. The Pet Care Specialist’s essential requirements include, but are not limited to:

Monitor group play to ensure a safe, fun daycare environment for our furry clients
Reinforce basic obedience skills
Observe body language cues to interpret behavior from dogs in the playgroups
Report any concerning health conditions or behavioral changes on a daily basis
Perform dog walking routinely using proper methods as instructed by staff
Perform cleaning duties to maintain a clean and sanitary play environment

Qualifications:

Must love dogs and have a desire to learn about animal behavior
Good communication skills
Friendly, positive outlook
Work effectively with other team members
Prefer 1 year of behavioral experience with dogs in a daycare or similar setting but willing to train the right person
