Dog Trainer
We are looking for a Dog Trainer to join our team. Our ideal candidate is attentive, punctual, and engaged. This person will be responsible for training dogs within the facility.
Responsibilities:
Meet dogs and create individual training plan for the dog
Understand a pet parent’s needs and listen to their concerns
Teach pet parents about dog behavior
Teach commands to the dog and pet parent
Treat all dogs with compassion and dignity
Teach pet parents how to reinforce good behavior
Communicate clearly with pet parents and other staff members
Follow procedures for the safe handling of all pets
Requirements:
Professional dog training experience
Knowledge of different dog breeds
Excellent communication skills and customer service.
Flexible schedule.
Treat all animals with compassion and dignity.
Preferrably hold a certificate(s) showing continuing education in the industry
