We are recruiting for Rufferees at our dog-friendly bar to join our team! We offer an amazing Bar/Dog Park experience to our patrons! You will be joining a team of professionals who are enthusiastic about providing a first class guest experience for both pet parents AND their pups!

Our ideal candidate is attentive, punctual, and engaged in their work.

Key responsibilities include:

• Ensure each pet is treated with respect and dignity, and has a safe and fun experience when coming to visit our bar/dog park.
• Willing to learn animal behavior to ensure their safety.
• Cheerful, friendly, positive team-oriented attitude.
• Use common sense to solve problems as it relates to dogs in our care.
• Understand or learn about canine body language and properly supervise playgroups that happen in our dog park.
• We love to have fun and take our job of caring for people’s pets seriously. Safety and security are a priority while enjoying all we do. We are a team and communication is key in keeping the operations going.
• This is a physically demanding job.  We ask that you be able to safely lift 50 pounds, have good hand-eye coordination, and are comfortable in environments where dogs sometimes jump on you.
• Supervise dogs in the park, ensuring they interact safely and respectfully.
• Manage groups of dogs, ensuring no aggressive or problematic behaviors arise.
• Provide assistance and guidance to dog owners regarding park rules, safety procedures, and dog behavior.
• Monitor and assess the health and well-being of dogs, addressing any concerns or issues (e.g., fatigue, injury, or illness).
• Clean up after dogs, including picking up waste and maintaining a tidy park environment.
• Must have basic customer service skills and be able to follow our safety protocols.
• Must love dogs. We have a lot of them!
