Job opening for Licenced Electrician - Journeyperson  

Geographic Location: Toronto area  

Job Description: 
This position requires the ability and knowledge to install electrical wiring and systems for commercial and residential applications such as custom homes, schools, retail centers and storage facilities. 

Responsibilities: 

• Install wiring and equipment for distribution equipment, Panels, Disconnects, switchboards and transformers
• Layout, mark and install junction boxes for devises and lighting according to electrical drawings and specification
• Bend, fit and install EMT and PVC conduit 
• Group, number and install electrical branch circuits wiring and feeders
• Trouble shoot and repair electrical circuits and devices
• Splice, join and connect electrical wires
• Final installation of electrical outlets, switches and lighting and controls 

 Qualifications: 

• 309A Electrical licenced and or 3rd-5th year apprentice will be considered 
• Strong blueprint reading skills 
• Strong communication and organizational skills 
• Excellent time management skills 
• Ability to multitask 
• Valid Drivers Licence 
• Valid WHIMIS and Working at heights certificate
• Own hand tools, cordless drill, sawzal, muti-voltage tester  
• Own PPE - Hard hat, safety boots, eye glass
