The lawn maintenance crew leader will perform tasks including lawn mowing, trimming, weed pulling, leaf blowing and collecting, planting, pruning. The job will include communicating with the Horticultural Manager daily, sometimes on a site basis. A good knowledge of the use of fertilizer and pesticides to manage the growth of grass, bushes, shrubs, trees and flowers is essential. The crew leader will be responsible for training the crew truck driver when applicable, and for ensuring loading and unloading of the truck is done properly in the yard.
