We are growing and currently seeking an experienced Crew Lead to join our team.

A Crew Lead at Cudmore’s Landscape & Design is a project manager, a client specialist, an experienced craftsperson and an emotionally intelligent, accountable leader. We are looking for someone who is experienced at supporting team members, capable of diligently delegating tasks to drive a project forward, is dedicated to the fine details of a project, comfortable reading, interpreting and implementing multi-faceted landscape plans, and is a collaborative leader, who will thrive working closely with a supportive leadership team. 


We are seeking someone who shares our core values:

As well as someone who has: 

  • A minimum of five years of direct landscape industry experience in a leadership role.
  • Expertise in landscape construction. 
  • Experience managing projects and proactively working with valued clients.
  • An understanding of project sequencing, optimal delegation and collaboration within a team environment and a nuanced understanding of landscape work standards.
  • Is a communicator, with clients, team members and our leadership team.
  • A thorough understanding of safety procedures as they pertain to landscape job sites.

Work hours and compensation: 

Work hours:

  • This is a full-time position with hours varying by season. 
  • Our work weeks tend to average 44 from March to December.



  • The role we are seeking to full begins at $62,400 (permanent, full time)
  • This is a salaried position. 
  • We do not do snow removal – winters are used to upgrade facilities, systems, processes and prepare for the season ahead. 


Full-time employees receive:
