Warehouse Associate

The Warehouse Associate will stock inventory or pick inventory for order fulfillment or other services. This role will closely monitor and replenish stock as necessary to ensure proper inventory levels in the production areas.  The Warehouse Associate will report to the Operations Manager.

OPERATIONS DEPARTMENT - WAREHOUSE MANAGEMENT DIVISION         

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

  • Perform physical and systematic inventory bin transfers to move equipment from receiving into inventory storage or other production locations.
  • Organize inventory stock so that it can be picked in a FIFO (first-in first-out) manner.
  • Transfer production failure units to designated bin in the Tech Center for “Production Failure Disposition.”
  • Warehouse Organization
  • Lift boxes and other semi-heavy products as required.
  • Place scrap terminals in designated area, physically and systematically.
  • Organize and maintain warehouse area, physically and systematically.
  • Place order in appropriate pallet for pickup.
  • Lift materials when necessary.
  • Stage inventory.
  • Secure hardware for all devices that require security escalation.
  • Perform regular cycle counts.
  • Manage retirement, repair, and replacement of devices and coordinate with the accounting department.
  • Coordinate returns to OEM for warranty service.
  • Pick product for order fulfillment.
  • Pull orders for encryption and place equipment into cage.
  • Pull internal supplies to provide/replenish stock for CDE and systematically record the transaction.
  • Alert Purchasing of inventory requirements.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Familiar with standard concepts, practices and procedures of monitoring and stocking inventory.
  • Attention to details and knowledge of shipping products.
  • Ability to multi-task with strong attention to details.
  • Ability to operate a forklift according to proper safety instructions and as directed.
  • Must have strong skills in basic math.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Team player with strong ability to organize shipments.

Job Requirements      

  • Minimum of a high school diploma or a GED.
  • Forklift certification required.
  • 2 years of experience in warehouse operations, preferably in the payments industry.
  • Experience with scrapping and recycling POS equipment preferred.
  • Adequate physical strength for lifting.
  • Requires standing for long periods of time.
  • Knowledge of operating a PC: requires clerical skills to update records and follow up on shipments.
