Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role in TORONTO, ON for an Irrigation Technician for HydroGreen Irrigation Inc based out of BARRIE, ON. Irrigation Technician(s) will be responsible for performing repairs and maintenance on commercial and sport field irrigation systems. The candidate will also work closely with clients to assess their needs and provide customized solutions, and will collaborate with the business owner to ensure the timely and efficient completion of projects. Selected Candidate will start April 1st, 2024.
Qualifications
CiT Certification an Assest
Experience of minimum 3 Years in irrigation system installation, maintenance, and repair.
Experience with using Google Drive, Calendar, Sheets and Docs is required.
Experience Completing Service list and recording work completed on Phone/iPad. Every Service performed is logged in full detail after reapir is complete.
Ability to keep up with Vehicle Maintence. Example - Oil Changes, Brakes, Noitifying the company when vehicle needs further maintenance.
Knowledge of irrigation system components and materials, as well as best practices and industry standards. This includes pipe sizing of 1.5" - 6", Sport rotors from every brand and Commercial Irrigation Controllers of every brand. Willingness to get dirty.
Effective problem-solving and time-management skills, with keen attention to detail.
Ability to work independently or with a labourer is CRUCIAL for this role.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients and team members alike.

Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
Pay is very Competitive depending on experience, ability to work with minimal supervision, amongst other variables.
