Greenhouse/Annuals Seasonal Associate

 

The Greenhouse/Annuals/Seasonal Department Associate is responsible for helping to oversee the Greenhouse/Annuals/Seasonal operations ensuring orders are accurately received from suppliers.  Setting up displays, merchandising and pricing of products. In addition, you will provide a high level of service by greeting customers, answering queries; providing information and product knowledge on greenhouse products, annuals and seasonal plants.

 

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Greet customers and answer queries. Arrange for delivery or pick-up for customer as required.
• Price, merchandise and create displays for products.
• Liaise with other departments as required.
• Participate and ensure Health and Safety compliance.
• Ensure that department and products are maintained; dead-heading, watering, re-potting, etc.
• Receive shipments of annuals and vegetables
• Maintain, clean, merchandise and ensure signage is up to date
• Organize and maintain display as required
• Keep Annuals department neat and tidy
• Organizing the Annuals based on color and variety
  • Color blocking the Annuals
• Creating a positive shopping experience for customers
• Other duties as required.
