Responsibilities:
- Install, repair, and maintain irrigation systems for residential and commercial properties
- Perform regular inspections to identify and address any issues with the irrigation system
- Troubleshoot and diagnose problems with sprinklers, valves, pipes, and other irrigation components
- Adjust irrigation schedules based on weather conditions and plant needs
- Ensure proper water distribution and coverage for optimal plant health
- Collaborate with landscape designers and maintenance teams to ensure efficient irrigation system operation
- Keep accurate records of work performed and materials used
Skills:
- Mechanical knowledge to understand the operation of irrigation systems
- Experience in landscape maintenance and irrigation practices
- Proficiency in using hand tools for digging, planting, and irrigating
- Ability to build, repair, and modify irrigation systems as needed
- Familiarity with power tools used in irrigation system installation and maintenance
- Strong attention to detail to ensure precise adjustments and repairs
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
