Maintenance Crew Leader/Foreperson:

Assign tasks based on work schedules, keep workers on task, complete timesheets and inspect the quality of work to ensure job requirements are met. Instruct crew members on proper work standards. Interact with customers to resolve issues or answer questions. Crew leaders, also called foreperson, work along with crew members in completing all landscaping installations/maintenance. Operate a variety of hand tools and equipment such as packers, chain saws, hedge shears, sod cutters, pruning saws, mowing equipment, etc. to complete landscape and garden projects.

 YOUR POSITION:

  • You’ll be an integral part of the team helping build and install eye-catching landscapes
  • You’ll be able to work in a safe, respectful and supportive environment
  • You’ll be trained on aspects of the job that you aren’t familiar with
  • You’ll be trained to operate machinery
  • You’ll be driving trucks and trailers
  • You’ll have a clear path that is outlined so that you can grow your pay, duties and position
  • You need to have a valid G2 or G class license

- SOFTSCAPE / MAINTENANCE POSITION DETAILS:

  • You will assist in the installation of perennial garden spaces       
  • You will operate leaf blowers, lawn mowers, trimmers and will have opportunities to train on other machinery such as skid steers, and other heavy equipment
  • You will improve properties by weeding, mulching, edging, and pruning existing garden spaces
  • You may occasionally assist the hardscape team in building stone walls, staircases and flagstone patios-          

YOUR WAGES:

Starting wage $23 to $27 depending on experience (specifically individuals who have experience in maintenance crew leadership and have in-depth horticultural knowledge)
