We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Field Sales Representative to join our team. As a Field Sales Representative, you will be responsible for driving sales growth by acquiring new customers and maintaining existing accounts. Your primary focus will be on selling our services to home and business owners in the Niagara Region.

Responsibilities of a Field Sales Representative

- Identifying and targeting potential customers in the market

- Building and maintaining strong relationships with customers to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty

- Analyzing market trends and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities

- Developing and implementing effective sales strategies to meet or exceed sales targets

- Negotiating contracts and pricing with customers

- Providing excellent customer service throughout the sales process

- Collaborating with internal teams to ensure smooth set up and delivery

- Preparing sales reports and forecasting for management

- Understanding and applying yearly budget and sales goals to sales strategy

- Partnering with our current marketing agency and team members to align marketing strategy with sales strategy

- Checking for and following up with new leads on a daily basis

- Scheduling and attending all appointments with new leads and past clients

- Delivering maintenance, design, and installation proposals in a timely manner

- Following up with leads to confirm receipt of proposal

- Tracking and communicating progress by planning, monitoring, and reviewing their sales contributions on a weekly basis

Qualifications and Skills

Broad knowledge in landscaping techniques and services

- Proven experience in the sales space or business development

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to analyze customer needs and recommend appropriate solutions

- Strong negotiation skills with the ability to close deals

- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets

- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively

- Experience in account management is a plus

- Strong team spirit

- Superior organizational and time management skills

Education and Experience Requirements

- Bachelor’s Degree or College Diploma in business, marketing, or a related field

** Minimum 5 years of experience in sales and estimating

** Minimum 2 years of experience in landscaping

- Landscaping knowledge and experience preferred but not required

- Proven experience in sales and estimating in the landscaping field or something similar

- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Google Drive, and similar softwares used regularly within office settings

As a Landscape Sales and Estimator, you will be the link between potential and actual clients. Our team will depend on you to acquire and convert leads. That being said, it is crucial that your communication and negotiation skills are excellent. Once a client has signed on with us, you can rest soundly knowing our design, maintenance, and installation teams will deliver on the terms of the contract.
