Responsibilities:
Lead a team of gardeners in all aspects of garden maintenance, including planting, pruning, weeding, watering, and pest control.
Develop and implement innovative gardening strategies to enhance the beauty and sustainability of our gardens.
Collaborate with landscape designers,horticulturists and home owners to design and execute new garden projects.
Manage the budget for garden maintenance and procurement of supplies and equipment.
Train and mentor staff in best practices for garden care and maintenance.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations related to gardening activities.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in garden management, with a minimum of 5 years in a leadership role.
Deep knowledge of plants, trees, and shrubs, including their care and maintenance requirements.
Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
Creativity and vision for garden design and development.
Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
