Your Role as a Crew Leader in Residential Property Maintenance:

  • Manage and motivate your team effectively to maintain and beautify high-end residential properties.
  • Ensure you and your team follow safe practices and company policies.
  • Your daily responsibilities include: exceptional customer service, record keeping, maintenance of your fleet (truck, trailer, equipment), lawn mowing & trimming, garden weeding, plant/shrub pruning, garden bed edging, hedge trimming, planting, installing mulch and overseeding.
  • You will report to Management.

 

Requirements:

  • Valid G driver’s licence or higher.
  • Proficient at driving a truck and towing a trailer.
  • Familiar with MTO inspection requirements and safe driving/towing practices.
  • Able to read and write.
  • Able to use a smart phone and tablet.
  • Physically able to perform all aspects of your role including heavy lifting up to 23 kg.
  • Certified safety footwear in good condition.
  • Your own transportation to and from our facility.

 

Ideally you have:

  • More than three years of relevant landscape industry experience.
  • A clean driving record.
  • First Aid/CPR certification.

 

Work Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday. Average of 10 hours per day.
  • During the months of April to June you will be required to work a minimum two Saturdays per month.
  • Winter work includes residential snow clearing and property cleanups.  Winter schedule varies based on weather.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Compensation is based on experience, qualifications, and demonstrated abilities.
  • $25 to $35 per hour depending on experience.
  • Year-end bonus based on performance.
